[origin: WO8102144A1] The invention consists of an assembly comprising masta (6), sails (4 and 5), guying (7), superstructure, supported by a platform, mounted and assembled so to form a functional set. The platform (3) is totally swivelling, supported by a ball-race (2), surrounding the theoretical axis (9). For setting purposes, the system can by placed in a whatever position in relation to the mobile and rests in the chosen position during the usage time corresponding to said setting (10 and 11). The ball-race (2) is solid with the device supporting the sail system which it partially or totally steers, absorbing its stresses. Under the theoretical axis (9), a support (8) takes part in the steering of the system and also absorbs the stresses especially compressions stresses The constituent elements of the sail propelling system have their own setting within the assembly device. This swivelling sail propelling system is adaptable and can be used on all existing or future vessels or land vehicles.

Ensemble comprenant mat (6), voiles (4) et (5), haubannage (7), accastillage, supportes par un plateau, montes et assembles de maniere a former un tout fonctionnel. Le plateau (3), pivote totalement, porte par un chemin de roulement (2), entourant l'axe theorique (9). Pour le reglage, le systeme peut etre place dans toutes les positions par rapport au mobile et s'immobilise dans celle choisie pendant la periode d'utilisation correspondant a ce reglage (10) et (11). Le chemin de roulement (2), est solidaire de l'engin supportant le systeme velique qu'il guide partiellement ou totalement et dont il absorbe les contraintes. Sous l'axe theorique (9), un support (8), participe au guidage du systeme et absorbe egalement les contraintes en particulier de compression. Les elements constitutifs du systeme de propulser velique ont leur propre reglage au sein du dispositif d'ensemble. Ce systeme de propulsion velique orientable peut s'adapter et fonctionner sur tous navires ou mobiles terrestres existants ou futurs.
