[origin: WO8102116A1] A cylindrical rod (3) longitudinally movable is arranged centrally in relation to the spray (2) of a powder spraying pistol (1). A conical deflector (5) is mounted on its free end. The lateral surface (9) of the deflector forms a sharpe edge (11) with the conical concave front face (10). In the central exhaust channel (12) of the deflector (5) a rinsing nozzle is arranged provided with an outlet approximatively radial for the rinsing air supplied by a pressurized air source (19). The rinsing tip comprises a head (14) in the form of a mushroom forming a deflecting body disposed adjacent to the exhaust channel end (12). The nozzle may also be made in the form of a rotation nozzle by means of a sharpe annular edge and a whirling chamber or of a helical guiding flange. The rinsing air flows continuously along the front face (10) thus preventing any powder packing at this place. A switch valve (18) controlled by a key (20) can switch automatically the exhaust channel on a source of fire extinguishing gas (21) which blows the gas in the spraying region where there is the greatest danger of inflammation.

Une tige cylindrique (3) mobile longitudinalement est disposee centralement par rapport a la buse de projection (2) d'un pistolet de projection de poudre (1). A son extremite libre se trouve un deflecteur conique (5) dont la surface laterale (9) forme une arete aigue (11) avec la face frontale (10) conique concave. Dans le canal d'echappement central (12) du deflecteur (5) est amenagee une buse de rincage presentant un orifice de sortie approximativement radial pour l'air de rincage fourni par une source d'air sous pression (19). La buse de rincage est constituee d'une tete (14) en forme de champignon formant un corps deflecteur place tout pres de l'extremite du canal d'echappement (12). Cette buse peut egalement etre realisee sous forme d'une buse de rotation a l'aide d'une arete annulaire tranchante et d'une chambre de tourbillonnement ou d'une nervure de guidage en forme d'helice. L'air de rincage s'ecoule continuellement le long de la face frontale (10) et empeche ainsi l'agglomeration de la poudre a cet endroit. Une soupape de commutation (18) commandee par une touche (20) peut aiguiller automatiquement le canal d'echappement sur une source de gaz (21) d'extinction qui chasse du gaz dans la region de projection ou existe le plus grand danger d'inflammation.
