Arrangement for removing a mixture (6) of abrasive material and cleaning residue from workpieces passing horizontally through a jet apparatus (1) and treated with abrasive material, in particular for workpieces (2) with rather large horizontal surfaces, such as sheets and bands, by means of at least one driving jet (19), characterized in that at least one driving jet is a jet (19) of abrasive material produced by at least one fan blower (12), which (19) extends roughly transversely to the direction of through-passage (20) of the workpieces (2) and meets the surface (8) of the workpieces in a flat or almost flat manner.

Zur Entfernung eines auf der Werkstückoberfläche (8) liegenden Gemisches (6) von Strahimittel und Reinigungsrückständen ist seitlich an der Strahlkammer (1) mindestens ein Schleuderrad (12) angeordnet, dessen Strahlmittelstrahl (19) flach und annähernd quer zur Durchlaufrichtung (20) auf die Werkstückoberfläche (8) auftrifft. Dadurch wird das Gemisch (6) seitlich von der Werkstückoberfläche (8) heruntergetrieben. Restliche Gemischteilchen werden mittels der Abblasvorrichtung (13) weggeblasen.
