1. Hand labelling apparatus for imprinting and dispensing pressure-sensitive labels (14) adhering to a carrier tape (15), comprising a housing (1) having at its rear end a grip (2) and an operating lever (3) pivotal against said grip (2), a printing mechanism (7) disposed in the front region of the housing (1) and driveable by the operating lever (3), said printing mechanism (7) being disposed in a frame (22) which is connected to the housing (1) pivotally for pivoting the printing mechanism (7) out of the housing (1) with disengagement of the driving connection (5, 6) between the printing mechanism (7) and the operating lever (3) and a feed means which is disposed in the housing (1), driveable by the operating lever (3) and feeds the carrier tape (15) from a supply roll (13) to the printing mechanism (7) and to a peel edge (19) at which the pressure sensitive labels (14) detach from the carrier tape (15) and move into a dispending position beneath an applicator roll (21) rotatably mounted at the front end of the lower side of the housing (1), characterized in that with a rotary printing mechanism as the printing mechanism a device (28, 29; 33) is provided for holding the rotary printing mechanism (7) in a basic position when the driving connection with the operating lever (3) is disengaged.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Handetikettiergerät, mit dessen Hilfe auf einem Trägerband (15) haftende Selbstklebeetiketten (14) bedruckt, aufgegeben und auf Gegenständen angebracht werden können. Das Gerät weist dazu im vorderen Bereich seines Gehäuses (1) ein von einem Bedienungshebel (3) antreibbares Druckwerk (7) auf, zu dem das Trägerband (15) mit den daran haftenden Selbstklebeetiketten (14) von einer ebenfalls vom Bedienungshebel antreibbaren Transportvorrichtung transportiert wird. Bei jedem Betätigungszyklus bedruckt das Druckwerk (7) jeweils ein Selbstklebeetikett (14), das daraufhin von der Transportvorrichtung mit dem Trägerband (15) zu einer Spendkante (19) weitertransportiert wird, an der sich das bedruckte Etikett (14) vom Tragerband (15) löst und in eine Spendstellung gelangt, in der es zum Anbringen an einem Gegenstand bereit ist. Damit das Innere des Gehäuses (1) zu Reinigungszwecken leicht zugänglich ist, ist das Druckwerk (7) in einem Rahmen (22) angebracht, der zum Herausschwenken des Druckwerks (7) aus dem Gehäuse (1) um eine nahe dem unteren Ende der Gehäusestirnseite angeordnete Achse (20) verschwenkbar mit dem Gehäuse (1) verbunden ist. Der Rahmen (22) ist im Gehäuse (1) verriegelbar.
