An adjustment sandwich washer (13) acting as a base for adjustably positioning an instrument (1) or a tool to be arranged at a right angle relative to the longitudinal axis of a shaft (2) whereon said instrument or tool is seated, said washer consisting of a pair of first and second partial washers (14, 15) one of which is to be fastened at the shaft or a shaft plate (3) and the other one of which is to be fastened at the instrument or tool, the partial washers being fine-adjustable as concerns the mutual inclination angle thereof by recessed tracks (30, 31) formed between said first and second partial washers and forming together wedge-shaped profile means, straddling bodies (28, 29) being movable along the tracks by threaded spindles (26), characterized in that said first and second partial washers (14, 15) are formed together integrally in one piece on a common hub portion (16), the adjustment sandwich washer (13) undergoing elastic deformation during adjustment of said instrument or tool.
