[origin: EP0035283A1] Hooke's coupling allowing to two shafts to be coupled to be articulated and, in case of need, to perform a radial and/or axial displacement. For this purpose, at least one intermediate member (22, 24) is disposed in a radial plane between the two coupling pieces (10, 12) and is linked to these pieces, at two diametrally opposed ends, through guides (68-78) accomplishing a substantially planetary movement. These guides are hingedly attached at each side to two coupling pieces (10, 12) as well as to the intermediate member (22, 24) by means of axially extending pivots (40 to 64), and are aligned in an axial direction. If two or more intermediate members (22, 24) are provided for, they may be linked together by a central articulation (300, figure 8), movable in all directions, so as to allow their mutual alignment.

L'accouplement homocinetique permet aux deux arbres a accoupler d'etre articules et, en cas de besoin, d'effectuer un deplacement radial et/ou axial. A cet effet, au moins un organe intermediaire (22, 24) est dispose dans un plan radial entre les deux pieces d'accouplement (10, 12) et est relie a celles-ci, a deux extremites diametralement opposees, par l'intermediaire de guides (68 - 78) effectuant un mouvement essentiellement planetaire. Ces guides sont fixes de chaque cote, de facon articulee, aux deux pieces d'accouplement (10, 12) ainsi qu'a l'organe intermediaire (22, 24) a l'aide de pivots (40 a 64) s'etendant axialement, et sont disposes alignes en direction axiale. Au cas ou deux ou plusieurs organes intermediaires (22, 24) sont prevus, ils peuvent etre lie ensemble par une articulation centrale (300, figure 8), mobile dans tous les sens, afin de permettre leur centrage mutuel.
