Fitting for living-room attic windows comprising a casing (3) and a sash (2) hinged thereto and a torsional spring means for weight relieve, active between the frame (5) of the said casing and the frame (4) of said sash, characterized in that the torsional spring means consists of a least two torsion spring elements (25, 36) positioned inside a hollow profile (26, 35) and aligned to each other in an axial direction, said spring elements comprising a first abutment (29, 30, 10, 39, 40) positioned between them and connected to the frame of said casing, and that the outer ends of said torsion spring elements are connected to said frame of said sash, such that said torsion spring elements are rotable inside said hollow profile.
