1. Drill point grinding machine with a respective grinding wheel (25, 11) for grinding the primary (29) and secondary (15) free surface, and with a grinding carriage (3) with a workpiece headstock (4) for receiving a drill and conveying it in its grinding positions, characterized in that a further grinding wheel (16) is provided between the grinding wheels for grinding the primary and secondary free surface, for machining the cutting face (24) of a drill (7), all grinding wheels (11, 16, 25) and the grinding carriage (3) with the workpiece headstock (4) being arranged and adjusted so that all grinding operations are practicable each at a given place, with a determined and constant gripping and adjustment of the workpiece, during one working cycle of the grinding carriage.

Die Schleifmaschine weist drei Bearbeitungsstationen auf, die je eine Schleifscheibe (11, 16 bzw. 25) aufweisen. Ein in einer Spannzange gehaltener Bohrer (7) kann an den drei Bearbeitungsstationen vorbeigeführt werden, um je eine primäre und sekundäre Freifläche und die Spanfläche zu bearbeiten. Die Maschine erlaubt eine einfache, vollständige Bearbeitung des Bohrers (7) in einem Arbeitsgang zur Erzielung optimaler Genauigkeit.
