1. Padder with a wind-around roll (3) for a textile material length (2) to be treated and with a trough (6) for the uptake of a liquid which is applied from out of the trough (6) and on to the material length (2) lying on the wind-around roll (3), in which there are a doctor (4) held magnetically in contact with the wind-around roll (3) and, if necessary, leading rolls (1, 9) for the material length (2), characterised in that, in the liquid transfer from the trough (6) on to wind-around roll (3) and from that on to the material length (2), the doctor (4) lies directly on the circumference of the wind-around roll (3), in the direction of transport of the liquid before the point at which the material length (2) comes into contact with the wind-around roll (3), and that a number of adjacent openings is provided on the surface of the doctor (4) lying in contact with the wind-around roll (3).

Beschrieben wird ein Foulard mit einer Umschlingungswalze (3), an dessen Umfang eine Rakel (4; 13) anliegt, die die Flotte dosiert. Die Rakel wird mit Magnetkraft an der Umschlingungswalze (3) gehalten.
