The invention relates to a suspension device for railway vehicles. In such a device, comprising, at each end of an axle (2), two helical springs (3) resting on brackets (4) which are solidly fixed to the axle box (5), and supporting caps (10) which, via articulated oblique rings (11) and members (14), support the suspended chassis (1), the angles ( alpha ,ss) formed by the rings (11) relative to the vertical being different, so that the axle box (5) is caused to bear on one of the guard plates (6) with a force F1-F2. L'invention a pour objet un agencement de suspension pour véhicules ferroviaires. Dans un tel agencement, comprenant à chaque extrémité d'un essieu (2) deux ressorts hélicoïdaux (3) resposant sur des consoles (4) solidaires de la boîte d'essieu (5) et supportant des chapeaux (10) qui, par l'intermédiaire d'anneaux obliques (11) articulés et de pièces (14), soutiennent le châssis suspendu (1), les angles (α,β) que font les anneaux (11) par rapport à la verticale sont différents, de sorte que la boîte d'essieu (5) est appliquée avec une force F1-F2 contre l'une des plaques de garde (6). Application à la réalisation d'essieux suspendus alliant stabilité et orientabilité.
