Abstract (en)
The protective device for the piston rod (5) of a working cylinder (4) comprises a protective tube (9) which is sealingly connected to the piston rod (5) and the length of which exceeds the length of the piston rod stroke, while its open end engages with a narrow gap (10) over the working cylinder (4). If the protective action provided by the narrow gap (10) is not sufficient, air or any other gas can be introduced by means of a scavenging air pipe (12) into the interior (11) of the protective tube (9). <IMAGE>

Die Schutzvorrichtung für die Kolbenstange (5) eines Arbeitszylinders (4) weist ein mit der Kolbenstange (5) abgedichtet verbundenes Schutzrohr (9) auf, dessen Länge die Hublänge der Kolbenstange übersteigt und dessen offenes Ende den Arbeitszylinder (4) mit einem engen Spalt (10) übergreift. Falls die sich aus dem engen Spalt (10) ergebende Schutzwirkung nicht ausreicht, kann Luft oder irgendein anderes Gas mittels einer Spülluftleitung (12) in das Innere (11) des Schutzrohres (9) eingeführt werden.
