An inner frame for the insulation glazing (20) of a single glazed window frame (12), made up of first mouldings (22) matching the opening of the window frame (12) and having miter joints, said mouldings (22) being able to be put in, if need be, together with the insulation glazing (20) from one side of the window frame (12), said mouldings further having an L-like part of their cross section having a rim (30) resting against the outer face of the insulation glazing (20) and having a further rim (32) resting against an edge strip of the insulating glazing (20), of second mouldings (26) able to be put in place from the other side into the window frame (12), and of filler pieces, having a wedge-like cross section, for filling up a space between a slopingly formed face of the window frame (12) and the rim (30) resting against the outer face of the insulation glazing (20), of the first mouldings (22), characterized in that the filling pieces are in the form of third mouldings (24) each having a lengthways groove (50) next to the edge of the thicker side, said filler pieces furthermore being able to be locked with the rim (30), resting against the outer face of the insulation glazing, of the first moulding (22), and in that the second mouldings (26) each have a rim (48) able to be pushed into the groove (50) of the third moulding (24) to be used therewith, said rim (48) resting against one of the edge strips, placed opposite to the first moulding (22), of the insulation glazing (20).
