1. Electrical plug connector - having a one-piece casing (3) - comprising a main body (4) - and a flap (5, 5a), - which is connected to the main body (4) via at least one hinge strip (6, 6a) and which is used for the integral closure of the insulating casing (3), - a plurality of plug contacts (8, 8a, 8b) inserted axially in chambers (7) of the main body (4) - and electrical leads (2, 2a), - which are securely connected to the plug contacts (8, 8a, 8b) - and emerge through openings (15), which are adapted in cross-section to form a water-tight fit with the insulated leads (2, 2a), characterised by the following features : a) two flaps (5, 5a) are arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal axis on the main body (4) ; b) the openings (15) are arranged axially ; c) the openings (15) are each arranged with approximately half of their cross-section in each of the two flaps (5, 5a) ; d) both flaps (5, 5a) are positioned axially on the main body (4) and e) the flaps (5, 5a) are integrally connected to both the main body (4) and to each other.

Elektrischer Steckverbinder (1) mit einem Isoliergehäuse (3) mit mehreren, in Kammern eines Grundkörpers (4) axial eingesetzten Steckkontakten (8, 8a, 8b) und mit zwei symmetrisch zur Längsachse angeordneten Klappen (5, 5a), die mit dem Grundkörper (4) über mindestens ein Gelenkband (6, 6a) so verbunden sind, daß die Klappen (5, 5a) zur Schließung des Isoliergehäuses (3) auf den Grundkörper (4) aufsetzbar und miteinander verbindbar sind. Um bei einem Steckverbinder (1) mit axial austretenden Zuleitungen (2, 2a) das Isoliergehäuse (3) wasserdicht abzudichten, sind die Steckkontakte (8, 8a, 8b) fest mit isolierten, aus angepaßten Öffnungen im Isoliergehäuse (3) austretenden Zuleitungen (2, 2a) verbunden, sind die Öffnungen je etwa zur Hälfte des Querschnitts in jeder Klappe (5, 5a) angeordnet und sind die Klappen (5, 5a) sowohl mit dem Grundkörper (4) als auch miteinander stoffschlüssig, insbesondere durch Anwendung von Ultraschall, verbunden.
