[origin: US4439881A] In order to maintain at a constant value the quantity of liquor applied in the wet-on-wet application of two liquors of differing composition, it is necessary that the fabric web which is wet from the preceding wet treatment is first uniformly partially dewatered and the second liquor is then applied uniformly. By using high-moisture measuring instruments after the dewatering and also controlling the same with the aid of measured values, and by proceeding similarly after the repeated application of liquor, it is possible to stay within the tolerances which are necessary to ensure the uniformity of the two processes.

Für eine Konstanthaltung der applizierten Flottenmenge beim Naß-in-Naß-Auftrag von zwei Flotten unterschiedlicher Zusammensetzung ist es notwendig, die von der vorangegangenen Naßbehandlung her nasse Warenbahn zuerst gleichmäßig teilzuenrwässern und sodann die zweite Flotte gleichmäßig aufzubringen. Durch die Verwendung von Hochfeuchtemeßgeräten nach der Entwässerung sowie Steuerung derselben anhand der Meßwerte und ein ebensolches Vorgehen beim erneuten Flottenauftrag gelingt es, die für die Gleichmäßigkeit der beiden Vorgänge erforderlichen Toleranzen einzuhalten. Die neue Arbeitstechnik ermöglicht es, die übliche Zwischentrocknung nach der Vorbehandlung einzusparen und entgegen dem herkömmlichen Brauch Färbeflotten direkt auf die nassen Warenbahnen aufzutragen. Die Gefahr einer Flottenverdünnung beim Arbeiten auf dem Foulard wird durch diese spezielle Methode vermieden.
