[origin: EP0049523A1] A protecting envelope for radio installations, such as antennas, is comprised of prefabricated construction elements, placed side by side so as to surround the antenna. When the presence of transporting machines with metal structures such as cranes is prohibited, a direct attachment to the envelope, which is made of a hard alveolar material, such as polyurethane, must be provided. To this effect, anchoring parts (5) made of a material poorly susceptible to influence electromagnetic waves, for example a synthetic material reinforced with fiber glass are embedded in certain elements (4c). To those anchoring parts (5) load supports (6, 7) may be attached which, as with travelling bridges (8), are also made of a synthetic material influencing only a little the transmitted waves. Although they are fixed only in the alveolar material of the elements (4c), the anchoring parts (5) may support considerably high loads.
