The apparatus has a rotating disc brush (4) and a feed pipe (5), arranged coaxially to the axis (D) of rotation of the disc brush, for a liquid, foamable cleaning agent, the upper end of which feed pipe is connected to a storage container, whereas the lower end passes through the brush plate (4) and is provided with an exit aperture, through which the cleaning agent is sprayed radially outwards in the direction of the operating bristles (4a) of the disc brush (4). Connected to the disc brush (4) is at least one air-conveying wheel (8, 14), the blades (10, 14) of which are arranged in a circular manner around the axis (D) of rotation of the disc brush (4). Air outlet openings are provided which are in connection with the space below the disc brush (4). The blades (10, 14) are constructed and arranged in such a way that the air flowing in from above in the axial direction is conveyed outwards in the radial direction and, simultaneously or subsequently, downwards in the axial direction through the air outlet openings into the space below the disc brush (4). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen von großflächigen Textilauflagen, insbesondere Teppichen oder Teppichböden. Sie besitzt eine rotierende Scheibenbürste (4) sowie ein koaxial zur Drehachse (D) der Scheibenbürste angeordnetes Zuleitungsrohr (5) für ein flüssiges verschäumbares Reinigungsmittel, dessen oberes Ende mit einem Vorratsbehälter verbunden ist, während das untere Ende durch den Bürstenteller (4) hindurchgeführt und mit einer Austrittsöffnung versehen ist, durch welche das Reinigungsmittel radial nach außen, in Richtung auf die Arbeitsborsten (4a) der Scheibenbürste (4) gespritzt wird. Mit der Scheibenbürste (4) ist mindestens ein Luftförderrad (8, 14) verbunden, dessen Schaufeln (10, 14) kreisringsförmig um die Drehachse (D) der Scheibenbürste (4) angeordnet sind. Es sind Luftaustrittsöffnungen vorgesehen, die mit dem Raum unterhalb der Scheibenbürste (4) in Verbindung strehen. Die Schaufeln (10, 14) sind so ausgebildet und angeordnet, daß die von oben in axiale Richtung einströmende Luft in radialer Richtung nach außen und gleichzeitig oder anschließend in axialer Richtung nach unten durch die Luftaustrittsöffnungen in den Raum unterhalb der Scheibenbürste (4) gefördert wird.
