[origin: EP0049885A2] The apparatus has a rotating disc brush (4) and a feed pipe (5), arranged coaxially to the axis (D) of rotation of the disc brush, for a liquid, foamable cleaning agent, the upper end of which feed pipe is connected to a storage container, whereas the lower end passes through the brush plate (4) and is provided with an exit aperture, through which the cleaning agent is sprayed radially outwards in the direction of the operating bristles (4a) of the disc brush (4). Connected to the disc brush (4) is at least one air-conveying wheel (8, 14), the blades (10, 14) of which are arranged in a circular manner around the axis (D) of rotation of the disc brush (4). Air outlet openings are provided which are in connection with the space below the disc brush (4). The blades (10, 14) are constructed and arranged in such a way that the air flowing in from above in the axial direction is conveyed outwards in the radial direction and, simultaneously or subsequently, downwards in the axial direction through the air outlet openings into the space below the disc brush (4). <IMAGE>
