Machine for the treatment of products, and in particular a centrifugal drier, comprising a basket (5) suitable to receive the product which is to be treated, a tank means (1) surrounding this basket and opening following the axis of the basket, and a cover (10), able to be drawn aside, in the form of a frustum of a cone with an apex situated opposite the said means, characterized in that this cover (10) is contructed in the form of a pipe which is open at its end opposite the tank means (1) and which is dimensioned such that in the case of explosion on the interior of this means, the pressure wave may pass freely through the said pipe (10) and be evacuated without creating a local excess pressure liable to damage the walls of the machine or its accessories and without risk to personnel.
