A cooking point (2) for a cooking appliance or the like, which cooking point can be selectively heated electrically or with gas and comprises a gas burner (3) disposed at the centre of an annular electrically heated cooking ring (4). For the purpose of further simplification of construction and improvement of utilizability or operation the electrically heated cooking ring (4) is composed of a plurality of jacket tube heater ring parts (6 to 11) which are grouped together in star form and supported in an indentation (16) extending around the edge region of the cooking point (2). <IMAGE>

Wahlweise elektrisch oder mit Gas beheizbare Kochstelle (2) für ein Kochgerät od.dgl. mit einem im Zentrum eines ringförmig ausgebildeten elektrisch beheizten Kochkörpers (4) angeordneten Gasbrenner (3). Zwecks baulich weiterer Vereinfachung und Verbesserung der Einsatzmöglichkeit bzw. Handhabung, ist der elektrisch beheizte Kochkörper (4) aus mehreren Mantelrohrheizkörperteilen (6 bis 11) gebildet, die sternförmig zusammengefaßt und im Randbereich der Kochstelle (2) in einer umlaufenden Einprägung (16) abgestützt sind.
