[origin: EP0050574A2] 1. Very high tension connector with built-in discharger (E) for a cathode ray tube, adapted to be associated to a tube supporting connector (2) such as one with built-in dischargers providing connection between the medium voltage sources and pins connected to the corresponding elements of the tube, characterized in that it is comprised of the following elements : a) a housing (4) penetrating into a window (21) formed to this end in the connecting board (1) and including the conductor piece (5) in contact with the corresponding pin of the tube grid (G3), the discharger means (E) as well as the conductor means (16, 7) connecting to the very high voltage source and to the ground, b) a cap (10) arranged on the copper side of said connecting board, covering the corresponding protruding portion of said housing ; c) a cover (11) covering the portion of said housing which protrudes on the opposite side of said connecting board, said cap and cover being provided with catching means (12, 13) having a given elasticity and adapted to penetrate into said window, said elasticity permitting both said penetration as well as the required locking after the positionning of the cover.
