The chair consists of a U-shaped frame bar (1), by the free limb ends of which the free limb ends of two U-shaped bar parts (2, 5) are connected in an articulated manner, of which parts the first bar part (2) lies in the plane of the frame bar (1) and the second bar part (5) is arranged, directed downwards, approximately at right angles to this plane. In this manner, the children's chair can be folded down to form a flat and short body which can be packaged and stored in a space-saving manner and can be handled easily and in a simple manner. Eine klappbare Liege, insbesondere Kinderliege, besteht aus einem U-förmigen Rahmenbügel (1), mit dessen freien Schenkelenden die freien Schenkelenden von zwei U-förmigen Bügelteilen (2,5) gelenkig verbunden sind, von denen der erste Bügelteil (2) in der Ebene des Rahmenbügels (1) liegt und der zweite Bügelteil (5) zu dieser Ebene etwa rechtwinklig nach unten gerichtet angeordnet ist. Auf diese Weise läßt sich die Kinderliege zu einem flachen und kurzen Körper zusammenklappen, der platzsparend verpackt und verstaut sowie leicht und einfach gehandhabt werden kann. In aufgestelltem Zustand hat die Liegefläche der Kinderliege die für ein Kleinkind vorteilhafte Schräglage.
