[origin: US4418255A] In a contact arrangement for air-blast switches, a tubular element consisting of ferromagnetic material (the inner wall surface of which is conical and continues the contour of a nozzle aperture) is provided with a layer of graphite. The layer is formed by one or more bushings which are force fitted into the tubular element. The desired conical inner contour can be produced by machining initially cylindrical inner surfaces after mounting the bushings within the tubular element.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kontaktanordnung für Druckgasschalter. Ein wesentliches Merkmal dieser Kontaktanordnung ist ein aus ferromagnetischem Material bestehendes rohrförmiges Bauelement, dessen innere Mantelfläche konisch ausgebildet ist und die Kontur einer Düsenöffnung fortsetzt. Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung ist das rohrförmige Bauelement (21) mit einer Schicht (20) aus Graphit versehen. Die Schicht (20) kann durch eine oder mehrere Buchsen (22,23, 24) gebildet sein, die mit einem Preßsitz in dem rohrförmigen Bauelement (21) befestigt sind. Die gewünschte konische Kontur kann durch mechanische Bearbeitung ursprünglich zylindrischer Flächen nach der Anbringung der Buchsen in dem rohrförmigen Bauelement (21) erzeugt werden.
