Snow-holding device for roofs, particularly asbestos-cement roofs, having a retaining part (6) and a supporting part (7), openings (10, 11) being provided in the retaining part (6) and in the supporting part (7) for introducing a shackle, characterized in that side parts are provided between the retaining and supporting parts (6, 7), which are fixed to one another, the opening (11) in the supporting part is provided with lateral cams (12, 13), and the edge (23) of the opening (11) in the supporting part facing the opening (10) in the retaining part (6) runs obliquely and is provided with a center groove (24) for firmly mounting the snow-holding device in the shackle, and the supporting part (7) is provided at its end remote from the retaining part with shoulders (16, 17) intended to rest on a roof for preventing water from collecting between the roof and the snow-holding device.

Die Schneehaltevorrichtung (5) ist mit einem Schneerückhalteteil (6) und einem mit diesem verbundenen Auflageteil (7) versehen. Der Auflageteil (7) weist eine Öffnung (11) zum Einführen eines an den Asbestzement-Platten des Daches befestigten Stahlbügels auf. Der Stahlbügel greift in eine Öffnung (10) im Rückhalteteil (6) ein und ist durch eine Rille (24) in einem abgeschrägten Teil (23) der Öffnung gegen seitliches Verrutschen gesichert. Durch die Anordnung des Befestigungsteils für den Stahlbügel im Rückhalteteil kann eine stabile Befestigung der Schneefangvorrichtung (5) erzielt werden. Bruchstellen im Befestigungsteil werden weitgehend vermieden.
