[origin: EP0052082A1] The invention relates to a building construction system using a series of rectangular blocks (1) which can be laid in superimposed horizontal courses and are formed in such a way as to define, in this condition, a network of intercommunicating vertical and horizontal channels intended to be filled with cast concrete. The system further includes block-positioning pins (14) which can be inserted into corresponding holes (13) formed in each block (1). Each of these holes (13) has an oval-shaped cross-section with its major axis lying parallel to the longitudinal axis of the block so that each block (1) can be displaced slightly in a direction parallel to its longitudinal axis with respect to the positioning pins (14) inserted in the holes (13) of the block.
