[origin: WO8103288A1] Hydrocarbon conversion catalyst compositions comprising a catalyst of the noble metal type dispersed on a support material, comprising a conventional refractory inorganic oxide support material together with an active component consisting of one ore more oxides selected from the group consisting of Cr2O3, MnO2, rare earth oxides, V2O5 and MoO3. Such catalyst compositions when poisoned by sulphur, deactivated by coking, or both, can be regenerated by heating the catalyst in an oxygen-containing atmosphere at a temperature in the range 100 to 500 C, followed by a reduction treatment.

Compositions de catalyseurs de conversion d'hydrocarbures comprenant un catalyseur du type a metal noble en dispersion sur un materiau de support, consistant en un materiau support d'oxyde inorganique refractaire conventionnel melange a un composant actif consistant en un ou plusieurs oxydes choisis parmi le groupe constitue pour Cr2O3, MnO2, des oxydes de terres rares, V2O5 et MoO3. Lorsque de telles compositions de catalyseurs sont empoisonnees par du soufre, desactivees par cokefaction, ou les deux, elles peuvent etre regenerees en chauffant le catalyseur dans une atmosphere contenant de l'oxygene a une temperature comprise dans une plage de 100 a 500 C, puis par un traitement de reduction.
