1. Apparatus for detecting warp thread breakages in looms having at least two shafts and electrically-conductive and mutually-insulated staves (16) having regions which are bridgeable by the metallic healds (18), in which respect the point of contact of each heald (18) of a shaft forms, with a stave (16), a switch in a control circuit which has a contact-making impulse counter with preselection in conjunction with a fault indicating circuit which has erasable stores and which controls a switch-off circuit of the loom characterised in that the control circuit has, for each shaft (I-IV), a control loop which leads by way of a switch (31) actuated by the shaft in the lower-shed position thereof, and in that the control circuit has an adjustable mechanism (counter 39) for limiting the maximum interrogation time, given by the actuation time of the switch (31), both with respect to the start of the interrogation time and the end of the interrogation time.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zur Feststellung von Kettfadenbrüchen in Webmaschinen, die mit Webschäften (I - IV) ausgerüstet sind, die gegeneinander isolierte elektrisch leitende Bereiche aufweisen, die durch die metallischen Weblitzen (18) überbrückbar sind. In der Unterfachstellung der Webschäfte, in welcher normalerweise alte Weblitzen vom Webschaft durch die Kettfäden abgehoben sein müßten, wird gemessen, ob durch einen gebrochenen Kettfaden eine Weblitze auf den Webschaft abgefallen ist und Kontakt gibt. Die zugehörige Steuerschaltung weist erfindungsgemäß eine einstellbare Einrichtung mit einem Zähler (39) auf, mit welcher die Abfragezeit festlegbar ist. Dabei können durch Wählschalter (35, 36) sowohl der Abfragezeitbeginn als auch das Abfragezeitende bestimmt werden. Die Einrichtung kann zur Erleichterung der Wahl von Abfragezeitbeginn und Abfragezeitende ein auftretende Signale anzeigendes Sichtgerät (32) aufweisen.
