Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0052440A2] A casting pallet (1) for casting prestressed concrete slabs or beams, includes prestressing strand anchors (5) spaced one from each pallet end by pivots (6), located at or adjusting the axial centroid of the pallet and below the locations at which the strands are attached to the anchors. The forces exerted by the strands upon the anchors are balanced by tie bars (11), extending between and attached to the anchors.
