[origin: US4407458A] The massive central portion of the knife is formed with an opening of substantially rectangular shape for inserting a boss of square shape integral with a support-washer in turn formed with an opening the shape of which is identical to that of the machine shaft. The boss has an eccentric hole for cooperating with a finger of a stabilizer holding washer provided with a sleeve on which comes the balancing washer of circular shape but having in its center a recess of oblong shape.

La partie centrale massive (1d) du couteau est percée d'une ouverture (3) de forme sensiblement rectangulaire pour permettre la mise en place d'un bossage (11) de forme carrée solidaire d'une rondelle-support percée elle-même d'une ouverture (12) dont la forme est identique à celle de l'arbre de la machine, le bossage (11) présentant un trou excentré (13) destiné à coopérer avec un doigt (17) d'une rondelle porte-équilibreur (15) munie d'un manchon (16) sur lequel vient se placer la rondelle équilibreuse (20) de forme circulaire mais présentant en son centre un évidement (2)) de forme oblongue assurant ainsi la possibilité de supprimer les balourds pour realiser un équilibrage des couteaux (1) montés sur l'arbre de la machine.
