[origin: WO8102407A1] An injection moulding apparatus for producing injection moulded articles of two or more colours or of two or more synthetic plastic materials has a plunger (31) mounted for axial movement in a barrel (32) to which the two or more different materials, or material of two or more different colours is fed. The plunger (31) is formed with axially extending passageways (33) to convey one of the plastics materials an injection chamber (35), and with additional passageways or grooves (39) to convey a second material to the injection chamber, the arrangement of passageways and/or grooves being such as to provide a predetermined distribution of the plastics materials in the chamber (35) thereby to produce an article having a predetermined colour or material distribution.

Un appareil de moulage par injection destine a la production d'articles moules par injection de deux ou plusieurs couleurs ou de deux ou plusieurs materiaux plastiques synthetiques possede un piston (31) monte avec un mouvement axial dans un cylindre (32) dans lequel deux ou plusieurs materiaux differents, ou un materiau de deux ou plusieurs couleurs differentes sont introduits. Le piston (31) est forme avec des passages s'etendant axialement (33) pour acheminer l'un des materiaux plastiques vers une chambre d'injection (35), et avec des passages supplementaires ou rainures (39) pour acheminer un second materiau vers la chambre d'injection, la disposition des passages et/ou des rainures assurant une distribution predeterminee des materiaux plastiques dans la chambre (35) pour produire un article ayant une distribution predeterminee de couleurs ou de materiaux.
