An extension arrangement for windows or doors in which the movable portions are rotatable about a vertical axis and tiltable about a horizontal axis, wherein arranged on a scissor arm (1) which has an additional link member (11), at the end which is towards the fixed frame, is a scissor rotary mounting which has an angle member (14), the scissor arm (1) is connected to the horizontal limb portion (13) of the angle member (14), and the other end of the scissor arm is slidably mounted by means of a collar-bearing pin (2), in a slot (3) of a scissor housing (4) which can be secured to the movable door or window portion, characterised in that, at its end which is towards the movable door or window portion, the scissor arm (1) has the pin (2) which is rotatable over an angular range of 90 degrees relative to the scissor arm (1) and which in the coupled condition engages behind the longitudinal edges of the slot (3) of the housing (4), at its end which is towards the fixed frame the arm is rotatably connected to the angle member (14) which can be fixed in the grooves in the upper horizontal frame member and the vertical frame member at the rotary mounting side, wherein firstly the vertical limb portion (16) of the angle member (14) can be turned into a position of positive engagement in the groove (17) in the vertical fixed frame member (18), by means of a portion (19) which engages behind an edge strip portion (20) of the groove (17) in the vertical frame member (18), then the horizontal limb portion (13) can be introduced into the groove (21) of the upper horizontal member (22) of the fixed frame and can be fixed in position by means of a screw, and the additional link member (11) of the scissor arm is fitted into a bore in the housing (4), by means of a pin (12) which extends virtually over the entire height of the housing (4).
