Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0052832A2] 1. Control head for pneumatic-spring actuation especially for adjusting the seat plate on seat furniture, characterised by a housing (5) which can be attached non-positively on the outer end (3) of the pneumatic-spring piston rod (2), with connection members (10) intended for making a connection between the pneumatic-spring piston rod (2) and the seat plate of the seat furniture and with a locking mechanism (7) which is accommodated in the housing (5) and which consists of a guide device (15, 16) connected to the housing and having first positioning means (17), of a control member (9) which is guided displaceably in the guide device and can be actuated from outside the housing and which has a forward-shift device (21), of a shift member (23) which has second positioning means (26) and which can be trought successively into a first and a second engagement position relative to the guide device fixed to the housing, as a result of the actuation of the control member (9) together with the interaction of the first and second positioning means (17, 26) and the said forwardshift device (21), and of a stop plate (25) which is connected to the shift member (23) and which is intended to act on the pneumatic-spring control rod (6), of which the depth of penetration into the housing (5) in the axial direction of the pneumatic-spring control rod (6) is different in the first and second engagement positions.
