[origin: EP0053063A2] Apparatus designed to allow the extraction and plugging of all muddy materials from basins or deep excavations with steeply sloping banks and for feeding them in relatively homogenous form to a remote treatment station by means of a pressure-propulsion pump forming an integral part of the apparatus. This apparatus comprises, from upstream in the downstream direction, a pump (1) for propelling the extracted materials towards a remote treatment station by means of a pipeline (2), an elevator device (3) for picking up the said materials from a receiving hopper (4) and for discharging these into the pump feed hopper (5), the said receiving hopper (4) carrying two extraction screws (6, 7) laterally, and, in its front part, an extractor device (8) capable of working alone or jointly with the extraction screws. <IMAGE>
