[origin: ES8304623A1] To unravel a terminal portion of a textile yarn, in particular in preparation for joining that yarn to another one by twisting their ends together, an extremity of the yarn is vibrated to loosen the fibers while a part of the yarn spaced from its end is held fast and the yarn extremity is combed or subjected to an aspirated air stream to remove loose fibers. In a preferred arrangement the air stream also causes vibration of a flexible tongue mounted in an air duct alongside the yarn extremity to oscillate its fibers.

Le dispositif pour défaire les fils comporte une membrane (56) fixée par sa périphérie à un cadre (52) et dont la partie centrale est entaillée pour former des languettes libres. Cette membrane est disposée adjacente à un canal (37) dans lequel se trouve la portion du fil à défaire. De l'air sous pression est envoyé dans une chambre de distribution (40) et dirigé dans le canal (37) à travers une buse (41). Cet écoulement d'air exerce une traction sur le fil et fait simultanément vibrer les languettes découpées dans la membrane (56), vibrations qui sont communiquées au fil réduisant ainsi le coefficient de frottement entre les fibres qui, sous l'effort de la traction exercée sur le fil par l'écoulement d'air se séparent de l'extrémité du fil enroulé sur une broche (29). Ce procédé est notamment utilisable dans le cas de rattache de fils par torsion axiale de faisceaux de fibres.
