An auxiliary blow nozzle for an air jet power loom, characterized in that the free end (8) of the blow nozzle (4) for entering between two warp yarns (17) in a shed of the loom is roof shaped and has an edge (9) substantially paralle to those warp yarns (17), which on entering of the blow nozzle (4) into the shed (19) are severed by the nozzle.
