Beim Herstellen eines Grobbleches wird ein Vormaterial (1) in mehreren Stichen warmgewalzt. Um Grobbleche (5) in grosser Dicke kostengünstig und in hochwertiger, fehlerfreier Qualität herstellen zu können, werden als Vormaterial mindestens zwei Brammen (1) gleicher Stahlqualität zu einem Paket (2) übereinandergeschichtet und durch Walzschweissen miteinander verschweisst und dickenreduziert.
