The device can be employed, for example, in texturing. It comprises enclosures linked by a horizontal chamber (1) containing a heating liquid, the heating means (2) consisting of an assembly fitted removably inside a conduit (3) based on a heat-conductive material, fitted in a leakproof manner throughout the length of the reserve (1) of heating liquid, this assembly comprising a hollow metal tube (4) around which are successively wound a layer of insulating material (5), at least one electrical resistor (6) and a second layer of covering insulating material (8), the outer surface of the member (2) being in uniform contact with the inner surface of the conduit (3). <IMAGE>

Dispositif pour le traitement thermique de fils utilisable par exemple en texturation. Il comporte des enceintes reliées par une chambre horizontale (1) contenant un liquide thermique, les moyens de chauffage (2) étant constitués par un ensemble monté de manière amovible à l'intérieur d'un conduit (3) à base d'un matériau conducteur de la chaleur, monté de manière étanche sur toute la longueur de la réserve (1) de liquide thermique, cet ensemble comprenant un tube métallique (4), creux, autour duquel sont enroulées sucessivement une couche de matière isolante (5), au moins une résistance électrique (6) et une seconde couche de matière isolante de recouvrement (8) la surface externe de l'organe (2) étant en contact régulier avec la surface interne du conduit (3).
