[origin: EP0054005A2] This apparatus consists of two compression moulds (1, 2), of which in each case one pressure rammer (31, 33) is connected to a vibration transmitter (15) and on whose second pressure rammer (30, 32) a pressure is exerted by means of hydraulic cylinders (3, 5). This can be used to compress straw meal by a factor of 9, so that a compact body which can be used as fuel is produced without binder. <IMAGE>
