[origin: US4447167A] A stacking device for stacking data carriers, especially multi-sheet forms, either face up or face down by selecting the orientation of a reversible, detachable magazine. The carriers are ejected between symmetrically arranged feed rollers. A pivoting diverter, and moderately spring-biased guides extending between the feed roller shafts, direct an ejected carrier over that feed roller which is on the selected side of the plane of symmetry of the feed rollers.
