[origin: US4445290A] A working head which is in contact with the bottom of the body of water is mounted at one end of an arm hingedly connected at its other end to a carriage. The carriage is vertically displaceable on the anchoring device, at least in the lower portion of the latter, between a working position in which the arm forms a relatively small angle with the anchoring device and a position in which it is substantially parallel to the bottom of the body of water.

Selon l'invention une tête de travail (4) qui est en contact avec le fond sous-marin (16) et montée à une extrémité d'un bras (3) articulé par son autre extrémité à un chariot (5) monté déplaçable le long d'un pieu (2) vertical disposé de façon coulissante dans un corps flottant est amenée à balayer un secteur annulaire par une multitude de passes parallèles successives sans modification de la position de travail du corps flottant (1). L'invention est particulièrement utilisable pour le dragage en grande profondeur.
