[origin: WO8200017A1] The instant workpiece holder eliminates the problem of loss of gripping force and detachment of the core from the holder. The workpiece holder (10) has a plurality of elements (38) movable radially outwardly into engagement with an inner surface of a workpiece (74) in response to movement of a cam (48) and includes at least one spring-actuated latch (56) which engages the cam (48) and prevents disengagement of the workpiece holder (10) from the workpiece (74) during operation of the workpiece holder.

Le present support d'une piece a usiner elimine le probleme de la perte de la force de prehension ainsi que le probleme du detachement du noyau hors du support. Le support (10) de la piece a usiner possede une pluralite d'elements (38) mobiles radialement vers l'exterieur, s'engageant dans une surface interieure d'une piece a usiner (74) en reponse au deplacement d'une came (48), et comprend au moins un verrou actionne par un ressort (56) qui engage la came (48) et empeche le support (10) de se degager de la piece a usiner (14) pendant le fonctionnement du support de la piece a usiner.
