Abstract (en)
In a watertight light fitting for tubular lamps (11), consisting of a casing covered with a diffuser, which elements are applied against each other via a joint (4), the casing and diffuser assembly consists of a first profiled section (1) with the approximate shape of a U open at both ends, of a second profiled section (2) made from transparent and/or translucent material, in the approximate shape of a U open at both ends, and of two end covers (3). The ends of the branches of the U of the said first (1) and second (2) profiled sections are designed in order each to have a longitudinal claw (5, 6) permitting their reciprocal engagement and ensuring leaktightness by virtue of a pressure caused by a certain elastic deformation of at least one of the two profiled sections (1, 2). <IMAGE>

Dans un appareil d'éclairage étanche pour lampes tubulaires (11) constitué d'un boîtier recouvert d'un diffuseur appliqués l'un sur l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'un joint (4), l'ensemble boîtier et diffuseur est constitué par un premier profilé (1) approximativement en forme d'U ouvert aux deux extrémités, par un deuxième profilé (2) en matière transparente et/ou translucide, approximativement en forme d'U ouvert aux deux extrémités, et par deux couvercles (3) d'extrémité. Les extrémités des branches de l'U des dits premier (1) et deuxième (2) profilés sont agencés pour présenter chacune une griffe longitudinale (5, 6) permettant leur engagement réciproque et assurant l'étanchéité grâce à une pression due à une certaine déformatlon élastique d'au moins un des deux profilés (1, 2).
