1. Method of making dendrites by means of electroplating, where operation takes place with an electrolytic solution of lower concentration of metal ions than usual and with a higher current than usual, and where the cathode including the surface to be electroplated is completely outside the electrolytic solution which is sprayed onto the surface to be electroplated, characterized in that the cathode is provided closely above the surface of the electrolytic solution, that such a quantity of the electrolytic solution is sprayed onto the surface to be provided with the dendrites that the entire surface is covered thereby, and that a continuous curtain of the electrolytic solution is maintained between the bottom of the cathode and the surface of the electrolytic solution.

Zum Erzeugen von Dendriten, die an ihren Grundflächen größere Querschnitte aufweisen, durch Galvanisieren, ist der als Kathode dienende Gegenstand (26'), der mit Dendriten zu versehen ist, dicht über dem elektrischen Bad (24') angebracht. Auf ihn wird die elektrolytische Lösung durch eine Pumpe (38) aufgesprüht, und zwar in solcher Menge, daß der Gegenstand vollständig mit der Lösung bedeckt ist und sich ein nicht unterbrochener Vorhang (48) aus der elektrolytischen Lösung zwischen dem Boden des Gegenstandes und der Badoberfläche bildet. Die elektrolytische Lösung weist eine niedrigere Konzentration an Metallionen auf als üblich, während mit einer Stromstärke gearbeitet wird, die höher als üblich ist. Die Pumpe zum Aufsprühen der elektrolytischen Lösung befindet sich in dieser Lösung oder ist außerhalb davon angebracht und dann über Schläuche damit verbunden.
