A cuboid folding box, the walls, lid and bottom of which are connected to one another via bending folds directly or indirectly in conjunction with adhesive tabs. In order to be able to produce the folding box from the sheet material with the greatest possible benefit and to be better able to meet the different requirements placed on the walls, lid and bottom, the folding box consists of a multiple-part, in particular three-part blank, each part of which has a rectangular basic shape. With this type of blank, the side walls can consist of a material with a higher rigidity than the material of the remaining blank. If there is to be printing on the folding box, the material with the side to be printed on can be selected according to its suitability for printing. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine quaderförmige Faltschachtel, deren Wände, Deckel und Boden über Knickfalten unmittelbar oder mittelbar in Verbindung mit Klebelaschen miteinander verbunden sind. Um die Faltschachtel mit möglichst hohem Nutzen aus dem Bogenmaterial herstellen zu können und um den bezüglich der Wände, Deckel und Boden gestellten unterschiedlichen Anforderungen besser genügen zu können, besteht die Faltschachtel aus einem mehrteiligen, insbesondere dreiteiligen Zuschnitt, deren jedes Teil eine rechteckige Grundform hat. Bei dieser Art von Zuschnitt können die Seitenwände aus einem Material mit höherer Steifigkeit als das Material des übrigen Zuschnittes bestehen. Sofern die Faltschachtel bedruckt werden soll, kann das Material mit der zu bedruckenden Seite nach der Eignung der Bedruckbarkeit ausgewählt werden. Die einzelnen Zuschnitteile lassen sich somit den individuellen Anforderungen anpassen.
