A fastener for belts has a basic body (1) which can be connected to the one end (10) of the belt and a flap (8) which is mounted so as to be swivellable on the flanges (3) of the basic body (1) for fixing the other end (11) of the belt to the basic body (1). The basic body (1) has an elevation (4) pointing in the same direction as the flanges (3), over which the other end (11) of the belt having a hole can be hooked. Eine Schliesse für Riemen besitzt einen mit dem einen Ende (10) des Riemens verbindbaren Grundkörper (1) und eine an den Flanschen (3) des Grundkörpers (1) verschwenkbar gelagerte Klappe (8) zum Festlegen des anderen Endes (11) des Riemens am Grundkörper (1). Der Grundkörper (1) weist einen in dieselbe Richtung wie die Flansche (3) weisenden Dorn (4), über den das andere, eine Lochung aufweisende Ende (11) des Riemens einhakbar ist. Die Klappe (8) ist in ihrer Schliessstellung verrastbar.
