[origin: WO8200323A1] A right angle clamp assembly (11) holds two frame elements in a common plane and in angled abutment to form a mitered joint. Pneumatic cylinders (74) are arranged to move the movable clamps (60, 61) of the right angle clamp assembly. A fastener tool (13) has its discharge opening positioned on one side of the location where the mitered joint is to be formed, and a brace (88) is positioned on the other side, with the brace being movable toward and away from the location of the mitered joint. The fastener tool is tiltable with respect to the right angle clamp assembly, and control means are provided for firing the fastener tool in response to the frame elements being gripped by the right angle clamp assembly. The fastener (168) is inserted into the mitered joint at an angle formed by the frame elements to draw the mitered joint together.

Un assemblage de brides a angle droit (11) maintient deux elements de cadre dans un plan commun et en appui faisant un angle pour former un joint a onglet. Des cylindres pneumatiques (74) sont disposes pour deplacer les brides mobiles (60, 61) de l'assemblage a brides a angle droit. Un outil de fixation (13) a son ouverture de decharge placee d'un cote de l'endroit ou l'assemblage a onglet doit etre forme, et une attache (88) est placee de l'autre cote, l'attache etant mobile vers et en retrait de la position du joint a onglet. L'outil d'attache est inclinable par rapport a l'assemblage de brides a angle droit, et des moyens de commande sont prevus pour actionner l'outil d'attache en reponse a la fixation des elements de cadre par l'assemblage de brides a angle droit. L'element d'attache est introduit dans le joint a onglet suivant un angle forme par les elements de cadre pour assembler le joint a onglet.
