1. Cover for cooking plates or hot-plates comprising a mechanical thermo-security device, in particular for electrical cooking plates or hotplates arranged in a top plate, the cooking plate slightly projecting beyond the top plate and the cover being provided with a rounded edge supporting on the top plate or in the lateral sides of the cooking plate, characterized in that the thermo-security device is so designed that under effect of heat it raises the cover (1) from the cooking plate and visually indicates the heating state of the covered cooking plate.

Eine Kochplattenabdeckung, insbesondere für elektrische Kochplatten, die in ein Oberblech montiert sind, wobei die Kochplatte des Oberblech etwas überragt und die Abdeckung eine umgebogene Kante aufweist, die sich auf dem Oberblech oder auf den Seitenflächen der Kochplatte abstützt. Die Kochplattenabdeckung ist mit einer Thermosicherung versehen, die visuell zeigt, ob die abgedeckte Kochplatte warm ist oder nicht. Die Thermosicherung kann eine vorgespannte Feder oder eine Bimetallfeder (2) sein, die die Kochplattenabdeckung (1) hochhebt, falls die Kochplatte warm ist.
