Abstract (en)
The seal for the top ridge of a sloping roof is made from resilient plastics material and follows the shape of the inside of the curved ridge tile (5). It consists of inner and outer sealing strips (7,8) with ventilating holes (9) through them at the centre, and supported by radial plates (12) with strengthening ribs (14,15) below the region of the holes. The inner strip (7) rests on top of the beam (4) under the curved tile, and the outside lip (11) of the outer strip (8) rests on the sloping roof tiles. In line with the ventilating holes are sloping spacing and sealing ribs (13) projecting radially outwards.

Abdichtung für den First eines Dachs, die unter den Firstziegeln angebracht werden kann, bestehend aus einem Streifen biegsamen Werkstoff mit Entlüftungsöffnungen, der mit einer Längsseite an einem Firstbrett befestigt werden kann und mit der anderen auf der Dachdeckung anliegen kann, welche Seite eine solche Form aufweist, dass sie dem Profil der Dachdeckung folgt. Der Abdichtungsstreifen besitzt eine oder mehrere zur Dachdeckung hin gerichtete Platten, die mit einer Längsseite unter den Entlüftungsöffnungen mit dem Abdichtungsstreifen verbunden sind und mit der gegenüberliegenden bis an die Dachdeckung reichen und eine solche Form aufweisen, dass sie dem Profil der Dachdeckung folgen. Durch die Entlüftungsöffnungen und die Platten ist eine gute Entlüftung unter den First des Dachs gewährleistet.
