[origin: WO8200240A1] In a method and a plant for recombining milk and other milk products water is circulated in a tubing system (12, 13) including a mixing tank (10). Metered amounts of milk powder or another pulverulent or particulate material is supplied to the tubing system by means of a metering apparatus (15) of a type permitting sluicing of metered amounts of pulverulent or particulate material into the tubing system without entraining substantial amounts of air. Due to the substantially reduced foaming liability obtained thereby, the plant may operate continuously with a single mixing tank (10) to which water or another liquid is currently supplied through a supply conduit (38), while liquid mixed with the pulverulent material is discharged through a discharge conduit (18). The mixed liquid may possibly be passed through a pasteurizer (21) and - after the addition of fat through a conduit (24) - to a homogenizer (23), whereafter the recombined milk product is passed to a storage tank through a product discharge conduit (37) in a cooled condition.

Dans un procede et une installation de recombinaison du lait et d'autres produits laitiers, on fait circuler l'eau dans un systeme de tubes (12, 13) comprenant un reservoir de melange (10). Des quantites dosees de lait en poudre ou autres materiaux pulverulents ou particulaires sont introduites dans le systeme de tubes a l'aide d'un appareil de dosage (15) d'un type permettant d'utiliser des vannes pour des quantites dosees de materiaux pulverulants ou particulaires dans le systeme de tubes sans entrainer des quantites importantes d'air. Grace au moussage sensiblement reduit ainsi obtenu, l'installation peut fonctionner en continu avec un seul reservoir de melange (10) qui est alimente en eau ou autre liquide par une conduite d'alimentation (38), le liquide melange au materiau pulverulant etant decharge par une conduite de decharge (18). Le liquide melange peut eventuellement passer par un pasteurisateur (21) et, apres addition de matiere grasse par l'intermediaire d'une conduite (24), puis dans un homogeneisateur (23), apres quoi le produit laitier recombine passe dans un reservoir de stockage par l'intermediaire d'une conduite de decharge (37), a l'etat refroidi.
