[origin: WO8200354A1] A method for the measurement of the properties of an agglutination, a precipitate (4), or of a corresponding reaction result placed on the bottom of a vessel (2) by means of radiation and of a detector (3) that receives radiation. The beam of measurement (5) coming from the source of radiation (1) passes substantially in the direction of the vertical axis of the vessel, and the intensity of the radiation passing through, or reflected from, the precipitate on the bottom of the vessel is measured. In order to measure the formation, location, and form of the precipitate and/or the density or other properties of different points of the precipitate, a component field of limited area, out of the field of the vessel (2) bottom to be measured, is measured. The vessel (2) and/or the source of radiation (1) and/or the detector (3) is/are moved so that the component field subject to measurement moves along the field to be measured. The measurement result of the component field at each particular time under measurement is read constantly or at specified intervals for the purpose of processing and output of the information.

Procede de mesure des proprietes d'un agglomerat, un precipite (4), ou un produit resultant d'une reaction correspondante place au fond d'un recipient (2), a l'aide d'une radiation et d'un detecteur (3) qui recoit la radiation. Le faisceau de mesure (5) provenant de la source de radiation (1) passe sensiblement dans la direction de l'axe vertical du recipient, et l'intensite de la radiation passant au travers ou reflechie par le precipite place au fond du recipient est mesuree. De maniere a mesurer la formation, la position et la forme du precipite et/ou la densite ou autre caracteristique de differents points du precipite, on mesure la composante du champ d'une zone limitee, en dehors du champ du fond du recipient (2) a mesurer. Le recipient et/ou la source de radiation (1) et/ou le detecteur (3) est/sont deplace(s) de telle sorte que la composante du champ soumise a la mesure se deplace le long du champ a mesurer. Le resultat de la mesure de la composante du champ a chaque moment est lu en permanence ou a intervalles specifies dans le but de traiter et de sortir les informations.
