1. Toy car racing track, consisting of at least one vehicle and track sections that can be put together in sequence with at least one lane (R, L) with guide media (36, 37) and with power conductors (30 to 33) for the vehicle or vehicles, which can be brought into electrical contact with the power conductors via current collector sliders (2, 3), having a controllable steering device (12) over the power conductors (30 to 33) and the current collector slides (2, 3), and guide links, with which they can mutually engage wit the guide media (37), being guidable along the track sections (35), characterised by, each lane (R, L) of each track section (35) having as guide media both a guide groove (37) as well as a guide edge (36) over its complete length and that at least one of the vehicles has as the guide link a removable and reinsertable guide stud (11) for engagement in the guide groove (37), so that it can be used, as required, as a steerable vehicle without guide stud (11) or as a lane bound vehicle with guide stud (11).

Fahrzeuge für eine Autorennbahn besitzen auswechselbare Führungsmittel. Ein Führungsstift 11 wird verwendet beim spurgebundenen Betrieb des Fahrzeugs. Taster 4 und 5 werden verwendet beim Betrieb des Fahrzeugs mit Lenken. Mit dem Umbau der Führungsmittel kann auch ein Umbau der Lenkung verbunden sein, so daß die Vorderräder beim Einsatz als Lenkfahrzeug nach rechts und links verschwenkt werden, beim Einsatz als spurgebundenes Fahrzeug in gerader Stellung verbleiben. Das zugehörige Bahnstück besitzt eine Führungsrille 37 zum spurgebundenen Betrieb und Führungsränder 36 zum Betrieb als Lenkfahrzeug.
